A Jeep Wrangler is a compact 4×4 sports utility vehicle that debuted in 1987. The Jeep Wrangler succeeds the jeep of World War II and has become a true American icon. Jeeps are best known for being rugged off road military vehicles. The civilian jeep better known as the CJ was inspired by the military jeeps and became the predecessor of the Jeep Wrangler.
The Jeep Wrangler was a vast improvement over the CJ. The new Jeep Wrangler design offered far more passenger comfort, a larger wheel base, less ground clearance and the signature square headlights. These new enhancements made for a vehicle that was versatile both off and on road, appealing to a diverse group of consumers. Continue reading ‘Is The Jeep Wrangler Fun Or Smart?’ »

Jeep Commander is a product from the Jeep firm. Not to be outdone by its competitors, the Commander was released at the New York Vehicle Show. The year was 2005. The Commander steals the limelight from the Jeep Grand Cherokee. Fans and customers of Jeep vehicles had been complaining about the lack of a new SUV vehicle from Jeep. On its debut, the Commander looked different from the Grand Cherokee in distinct ways. First, the design style breaks away from the traditional style. Secondly, although the Commander is roughly the same size as the Grand Cherokee, it has more space and capacity than the Grand Cherokee.
Jeep is working hard to please its consumers. Todays car buyers have a lot of choice. There are a lot of competitors in seven-seat vehicles. Performance and looks are more important. It pays very well to fuse these two qualities. Especially on seven-seat vehicles. On the overall, customers will not be disappointed in the Jeep Commander. Coincidentally; the name ‘Commander’ is common among seven-seat car manufacturers. Maybe it sells. Continue reading ‘Unveiling Of The Jeep Commander’ »

Legendary and still on the road today, the Jeep Cherokee has made its mark in history. The compact classic style sports utility vehicle was one of the most popular vehicles on the market. The rugged workhorse power and off road performance appealed to the outdoors group. While the firm sporty ride with respected blacktop performance appealed to the utility and family minded individuals.
In production for almost 20 years, the Jeep Cherokee displayed minimal changes through the years. Cherokees lived through two generations of production beginning with the first hitting the roads in 1984. Modeled after the Wagoneer, the Cherokee was a cheaper more modern version. It offered consumers versatility, power and convenience wrapped up in a more modern vehicle. Continue reading ‘Is The Jeep Cherokee Considered Sport Or Utility?’ »

Used Jeeps too expensive? Overpriced? Out of Range? Out of sight?
The answers are…yes..yes..yes..and yes!
With the Wrangler leading the pack on ridiculous pricing in the new and used markets it’s no wonder that there is so much “Buyer’s Shock”.
So what’s so special about Jeeps and the Jeep Wrangler especially? Wranglers are relatively uncomfortable, rough riding, cramped for space and bad on gas mileage. With those credentials who would want to waste their time and a boat load of money on these things? Continue reading ‘Used Jeep Buyers Shock!’ »

There is no doubt that Jeep wants its customers to have an extreme experience. Having said that, it should come as no surprise that Jeep Grand Cherokee has received more than a scintilla of attention from both automotive retailers and general magazines and websites on the subject. The site gives the same vehicle a “4×4 of the Year” and other awards. It performs well on highways as well as on rugged roads. It is also a mid-size vehicle with powerful engines.
The Grand Jeep Cherokee was unveiled in 1983. Compared to other traditional SUVs, the Jeep Grand Cherokees looks like other cars. The compact size has been maintained since 2005. However, more features have been added since 2007. In 2007 new diesel engine options were added. Beginning in 2001, the Cherokee had a V8 five-speed automatic engine. In 2002, Jeep introduced three additional trim levels i. E.; Special edition, Sports, Overland, a 265 HP V8 and more features. The V8 engine was the better choice as it provided more power without much sacrifice in fuel economy compared to the six-cylinder. Continue reading ‘The Jeep Grand Cherokee Is Made For Extremes’ »
