There were only two of these BMW Turbos every built. To this day, it is one of the rarest BMW’s, if not the rarest BMW out there. The BMW Turbo was custom made with gullwing doors, which are hinged to the ceiling of the car, and a super futuristic cockpit. On the interior of the Turbo there were a number of safety features and on the exterior, there was a super large window, and a proportionately balanced sloping front. Of course the BMW Turbo was powered by the 4-cylinder 1990cc turbocharged engine with 280 hp at 5200 rpm. 165 mph was its maximum speed. The BMW Turbo was BMW’s first mid-engined car. Buying or renewing the spare parts for the BMW car is a usual thing accomplished by the owners of cars that are made by such automobile manufacturer. In addition to replacing components that have been unsuitable for the machine to be able to perfectly work, the activity of purchasing BMW parts has also been conducted for the sake of vehicle modification to alter and improve its performance and appearance.
To obtain optimum parts replacement effectiveness and to prevent undesirable mishaps from happening, utilizing only the OEM BMW auto parts for the purpose of either reparation or modification is highly recommended. However, not all necessary components have been made available in our local country by the official BMW manufacturer. There are several components that are produced independently by several spare parts manufacturers that are not endorsed by the BMW Company.
For that reason, precautionary principles must always be kept when we want to purchase certain spare parts for your BMW car. If you do not know anything about the difference between the OEM parts and the independently manufactured parts, or you are unsure about whether the condition of the parts that you buy is acceptable to be installed on our BMW car or not, then the best thing to do is inviting your friend whose adeptness in the BMW spare parts is unquestionable to help you choose the best option for your car.
Luxury cars such as those that are manufactured by BMW usually employ certain warranty period. This term is something that you have to pay attention because the manufacturer usually restricts any parts replacement or modification to be done to the car. So if your damaged BMW car is still covered by the warranty policy, you should bring it to the BMW service center to obtain free reparation or discount BMW auto parts. Don’t ever try to do the reparation or parts replacement yourself because such activity may make the warranty policy void.
